
About Dr. Emma-Jane Roberts
Born In South Africa in 1971, I grew up in Surrey in the UK, where I attended Tormead School, Guildford Surrey.
My first B.Sc. (hons) Degree was in Biology, following which I completed a Diploma in Equine Science.
I then joined the Metropolitan Police Service London, where I served for 8 years as both a constable and a detective.
This was to help pay for both my degrees and to give something back to the community. I completed My honour Degree In Osteopathic Medicine between 1998 and 2002.I moved to Johannesburg, South Africa following my degree where I set up my practice in Rivonia.
In 2003 I became a member for the board of osteopathy and chiropractic for the Allied Health Professions Council South Africa, and served till 2011. I was also a council member between 2005 and 2011, for the Allied Health Professions Council.
In 2007 I attended the World Health Organisation international forum or standards setting for Osteopathy where I represented Southern Africa. I was also Vice chairperson for the osteopathic association till 2011; and was instrumental in standards setting and liasing tariffs with the Department of Health.
I treat all the conditions covered by this website but have specialised in pregnancy and post partum care of mothers as well as treatment of babies and children.
